After almost five hours, the protest of the Albanian opposition ended.
In the closing speech, Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha thanked the participants for the protest, and land told them about the next protest that will take place on Thursday but this time in front of the Albanian Parliament."I want today, on behalf of the opposition, to express the deepest gratitude to hundreds of thousands of Albanians who gave voice to the revolt and civic uprising. Let us commit today that this civil uprising will continue until the total overthrow of this rotten system and invite you on Thursday at 10:00 in the next most united and determined protest.
We will continue to be determined against the thieving government. On Thursday, the people will give another response to the narcotic state by taking the fate in their hands. Therefore, I invite you all, thanking you for this tremendous strength, and to be even more determined and more united on the next protest!" Basha said.
