The Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank congratulated the Turkish scientists for their successes and wished this expedition to be useful to Turkey.
The Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank in a statement made in Bolu said that "We have a project to establish a scientific base in Antarctica. This is a project highlighted by a visionary policy of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Our scientists are currently carrying out their third expedition in Antarctica."
About the pictures coming from the Antarctica by the team, Varank said: "We established the temporary scientific base in Antarctica. It's a picture that makes us feel proud. Waving our flag there is a source of pride for us. It is also a very difficult process, we thank our scientists here. They explained the hardships and the storms they lived. We wish this to be useful to the country."
