Albania has marked an improvement in the visa-free movement of its citizens.
This is also confirmed by the latest Hanley & Partner report, which ranked Albania at 48, belonging thus to the powerful passports in the world.Thus, Albanian citizens can move freely to 116 foreign countries, without having to follow the visa-taking procedures.
Meanwhile, in the index published in January (which is reviewed every three months), Albania was ranked 50th with the visa-free movement of citizens towards 115 countries,
"Albania, for example, has moved up to 28 posts in the index over the past ten years, where citizens can move to 116 destinations without a prior visa," says Hanley's official announcement.
Meanwhile, in the European continent the German passports remain the most powerful travel document, where German citizens can move visa-free to 188 countries.
Whereas, Japan, South Korea and Singapore continue to lead the list as the countries with the most powerful passports in the world, sharing the first place among them. Passport holders of each of these three countries can visit 189 countries without the need for a visa.
On the other hand, the European country with the 'poorest' passport is Kosovo, which ranks in place of 95, where citizens can move freely only to 43 countries, including the four neighboring countries, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia.
