In Albania the Opposition held today the next protest in front of the Parliament, convened at the ordinary session. For nearly 4 hours, its supporters stood in front of the main entrance, where there were still moments of tension, after the repeated attempts to break the security cord.
The protest is closed after they stopped at the Tirana Police Directorate, where the opposition leaders demanded the release of a group of young people arrested during the morning. The House of Parliament was again surrounded by numerous police forces, which had blocked the side roads leading to it. As the session started in the hall, outside, the opposition was assembled at the next protest. For nearly four hours its supporters stood in front of the central entrance with calls against the Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Even this time, there were moments of tension, as there were several repeated attempts by protesters to crack down on the police cordon. Unlike previous protests, these efforts were reversed without the need for using tear gas.
