Dozens of police forces have travelled from Tirana to Shkodra and have arrested about 14 persons. These arrests have been made because these citizens have long been engaged in illegal activity of usury.
In total, the list of persons for which the police executed the detention orders is 16, while this number is expected to increase. Police forces from Tirana landed to Shkodra at 04:00 am, launching immediately the flash action. They were scattered at various points in the city by arresting the detained persons.The Police action is still ongoing in the city of Shkodra and it is expected that the investigations will go even further. The Usury has become a concern in Shkodra to State Police after the tapping for nearly two months some of them have been arrested.
It is expected that the police will provide more details about this operation with the names of the arrested.
