The opposition has been protesting for more than a month and has even "burned" the deputies' mandates, as it requires snap election within a transitional government, without Rama as prime minister.

In his speech, where he presented Veliaj as a candidate for another mandate in the Municipality of Tirana, Rama revealed a challenge for the Opposition.

He stated that the June elections will be held also without them, while pledging to take the country to early elections, if the opposition will win even one more municipality on June 30th.

"If in the June 30 elections, you will win a city more than us. We are ready to go to early elections. I know you will not accept this challenge. You can not beat the SP either in Kukës or Skrapar, imagine all over Albania," Rama said.

"I have an invitation for you, as you are who have braced the internationals head for election reform. Come sit and let us approve that reform together, let's agree to experiment in some areas even the voting, and electronic counting. Having in mind that you are very happy to sell-buying the votes, we will approve any measure that will propose in the parliament the sales-buying Doctor (Monika Kryemadhi) of the votes. We vote in Parliament with the new MPs you have elected," the prime minister added.
