Serbia's Army Chief Milan Mojsilović said the situation in Kosovo is "very complex", but Serbia, for the time being, "is not considering the possibility of military response".

In an interview to Serbia's Radio Television, Mojsilovic said the situation in Kosovo is "full of tensions and unilateral moves".

"The security situation is stable, but, on the basis of all the parameters, it is very unpredictable," said Mojsilovic, reports Balkan Radio Service for Free Europe.

He added that the Serbian army is in constant contact with the KFOR units, the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

Mojsilovic said the Serbian army is monitoring the situation on terrain and expelled, as he said, the use of military force.

"You are witnessing how the President and Government of Serbia are committed to a peaceful state of affairs and a solution to the situation in Kosovo. The military reaction option is excluded, it is not being considered for now," Mojsilovic said.

Kosovo declared its independence in 2008 and, in December last year, has taken the decision to transform its military force in an army.
