Nepotism and not professionalism in Albanian Diplomacy, 20 diplomas dismissed

 There are 20 Albanian diplomats of the Embassies in some countries of the world that have been dismissed.

While yesterday the Foreign Ministry announced yesterday that is dismissed the diplomat Blerta Derhemi, part of the Albanian mission to the EU.

It is also learned that Artur Porpollogu, consul at the Albanian Embassy in Athens, has been dismissed and the list continous with the consul in Hungary Marin Meksi.

According to the Ministry, the dismissals were indispensable due to nepotistic and irregular employment in the diplomatic service.

Gent Cakaj

While the Foreign Minister, Gent Cakaj announced a few days ago the dismissing of 20 diplomats, but without mentioning the names.

Meanwhile Oculus News sources learned that some of the fired diplomats have blood links with familiar characters of the Albanian media, from business or politics.

Some of them are:

The brother of Arjan Çani (journalist of Zonë e Lirë show in Tv Klan), Alket, was in the post of the diplomat of the Albanian Embassy in France.

The sister of Aleksandr Frangaj (owner of Tv Klan), Majlinda, served as a diplomat at the Albanian Embassy in the Vatican.

The daughter of historian Paskal Milo, Inid, was director at the NATO Directorate at the Foreign Ministry.

The son of the analyst and publicist Preç Zogaj, Besjan, served as a diplomat at the Foreign Ministry.

The lwidow wife of the writer Teodor Keko, Xhuli, served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Albania in the Netherlands..
