The Albanian national team has started the preparatory phase for its first two qualifying campaign games for Euro 2020, against Turkey and Andorra, to be played respectively on March 22 and 25. The coach, Christian Panucci, promised changes to the squad, mostly in the players' behavior than to the way they played.
"Regarding behavior on the field, we will change something, but the game will remain the same. We have been able to recover some players. It is certain that something will change, starting with the challenge with Turkey. We can play with 4-3-3, though not 3-5-2. I'm happy with the group of players I have, but everything depends on their shape," said the Italian technician at today's press conference.For Panucci, it is better for everyone to be humble and not thinking more about 2016. The Italian added that Turkey is a strong team, but he believes in the victory.
"...I see here someone out of reality after Euro 2016. We're in the group with Turkey, Iceland, France. If we do well we will rank third, if we do something special we will rank second. But we must all be humble. I see that the 2016 has done bad to someone. Turkey is a strong and high-quality team. As soon as they have changed the coach, it is a better team than we do, so that we should be stronger than them. I have confidence in my players, I am positive and I believe that we are able to win over Turkey," said the coach of the Albanian National Team, Christian Panucci.
