While the Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Fier, within his agenda of meetings with citizens, again some sympathizers of the Opposition have gathered in the streets protesting.
The situation was tense, as protesters have clashed with the police. As a consequence, one of the Officers was injured in the head and was transported to the local Hospital.With placards in their hands written "Rama Go!", "Rama like Chavez" etc, and with vuvuzela the protesters sought the removal of the Prime Minister.
Democratic Party leader of Fier, Luan Baçi, has appealed to the protesters to not be tempted by provocations.
"Do not touch the cops. I do not want conflict with our friends, with our brothers... Do not provoke citizens" - he said.
Meanwhile, four people have been arrested in flagrance and 41 other citizens are being investigated after the yesterday's protest in Fier against Prime Minister Rama.
