Saimir Tahiri while on interview |
The problems with the Justice of the former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri continues. A week after being officially recognised as a defendant, the former minister was seen today at the Court of the Serious Crimes, where the verdict is expected for him.
On February 28, the Prosecution for Serious Crimes closed the investigations and filed a case file of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri with the charge of "Narcotics Trafficking" within the framework of the structured criminal group "Habilaj" and "Passive Corruption of Public Officials".After getting acquainted with the charges, Tahiri chose to comment ironically that after Aldo Bare, he is probably the second with this kind of charge. Though he said he would respect justice, the former minister said considered the process shameful and directed by the politics.
Tahiri refused to say that by whom the Prosecution is being commanded, in his accusations against, but said that the politics, the crime and the justice are so close, same as the Trinity of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are.
