Rami Shehata and Italian police |
One of the kids on the school bus that was hostaged a couple of days ago in Italy is considered a hero by his friends, as they show, he has saved them all.
The bus driver grabbed him with 51 schoolchildren on board and then set the flame near Milan. The children, who fortunately are all safe, say that the 13-year-old Rami Shehata had hidden his phone when the driver had taken them to everyone else. The police was then notified of that phone. "He is our hero," says a classmate.According to the media, Rami had made a phone call while claiming to be praying in Arabic, but he was actually asking for his father's help.
Ram's family came from Egypt and the 13-year-old himself was born in 2005 in Italy, but could not provide any documentation of citizenship.
And his bravery in accident can even help him ... "My son did the job. It would be nice if he would take Italian citizenship now," said his father.
And the Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio is ready to give him the citizenship by saying he deserves it. But the Interior Minister Salvini hesitates: we will consider it - was his answer.
