Some members of the Serbian List have attacked physically this Wednesday the deputy of the Kosovo Assembly Slobodan Petrovic. The event happened in a restaurant in Pristina. In a media outcry, Petrovic says recently is being organised a campaigning against his party.
"I am attacked this morning by former adviser to former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Kosovo, Nenad Rikallo. Recently there is a campaign against my party.The reason is that since 15 years I lead a policy of peace and cooperation and this is now known. Last week I wrote a letter to the Serbian President Vucic. He has wrong informations about me," Petrovic said.
He also talked about the threats to the members of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) in the recent elections held in Kosovo. According to him, Kosovo police went quickly to the scene.
Petrovic said he would work to protect the interests of the Serb community living in Kosovo.
"I know you are afraid since a long time. You are afraid of those who should protect you. We will fight for values and we will promote everything that is good for the Kosovo Serb community.
"We want to live together, free and prosperous. We want to become part of the great European family where there are many peoples," he said.
According to him, the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) will work for the rights of the Serbs.
