The Albanian coalition wins local elections in Tuz with Nik Gjeloshaj
 

 The municipality of Tuzi in Montenegro will be run by an Albanian after the winning result in the local elections of the 3 Albanian parties in front of the party of President Milo Djukanovic.

After the closing of the vote count, the candidate emerged from the union of the three Albanian parties titled "Malësia na Bashkon", Nik Gjeloshaj is declared winner against the other candidate, Mirza Pepic.

The Albanian coalition received about 3682 votes, or 16 out of 32 seats in the Municipal Assembly.

In the elections of Tuz, many Albanian emigrants came to vote for the candidacy of the union of the three Albanian parties, the Albanian Alternative, the Democratic Union and the Democratic League.

Tuzi split from Podgorica on September 1, 2018. In order to maximize the votes and achieve a winning outcome, the three Albanian parties, the Albanian Alternative (chairman: Nika Gjeloshaj), the Albanian Democratic League (chairman: Nikolle Camaj) and the Albanian Democratic Union (chairman: Fadil Kajoshaj) joined the pre-election coalition "Malësia na Bashkon"  by achieving the goal.
