The Serbs have more sympathy for the Greeks and the Slav-Macedonians, who are classified as their favorite nations, while they do not want Albanians and Croats, according to a study by the Factor Plus agency published last week,
The agency's research dealt with the relationship between the Serbian and Albanian people, the perspective of this relationship, the points of dispute, and the opportunities and areas of co-operation.This research showed once again aout the profound historical traumas, stereotypes, but also the unresolved issue of Kosovo and the attitudes of politicians that affect the relations between Serbs and Albanians. This research highlighted of what kind of opinions the Serbs have towards other peoples in region. The respondents aged 24-45-year old, and 43 percent of them said they had the most positive opinion for the Greeks. Those aged more than 50 years old, according to the results of this research, prefer the Macedonians, while older than 55 years old prefer the Montenegro.
On the other hand, Serbs have more negative opinions about Croats and Albanians. This is evidenced by the fact that up to 33 percent of respondents have a negative outlook for Albanians, while 68 percent of Albanians see the Serbs in a negatively manner.
