Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Turkey will send a high-level delegation to New Zealand after the terrorist attacks on Mosques that killed at least 50 people dead.
"I am sending our Vice President, the Foreign Minister and a delegation to New Zealand," President Erdoğan said in a phone call with New Zealand's Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy."The Mnifest that the terrorist released clearly shows that this is not an individual act," President Erdoğan added, highlighting the importance of group exposure after the attacks and providing Turkey's assistance.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that during their voyage to New Zealand, Vice President Fuat Oktay and Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will send Turkey's condolences on the attacks.
The delegation will emphasize Turkey's determination against Islamophobia and xenophobia, as well as expressing Turkey's solidarity with New Zealand in the face of these "terrible" attacks.
The Armed persons opened fire on believers during prayers at the Al Noor Mosque in Linwood, Christchurch, New Zealand, meanwhile one of the attackers broadcast the direct incident in the social media.
Four suspects, three men and one woman, have been arrested so far.
