The Turkish Police confiscated 541 test tubes of serpent poison in Istanbul.
The anti-smuggling teams of the Istanbul Security Director launched an operation after learning that two suspects were trying to sell the cobra poison to several pharmaceutical companies, the anonymous source said.After technical and physical surveillance, the suspects identified with initials C.C. and E.D. were arrested at an address in the Gungoren neighborhood on March 20, the source added.
A laboratory test confirmed that the liquid seized substance was cobra poison.
