A newly mother passed away today in Elbasan. A 25-year-old woman died just after gave birth to her first baby. The 25-year-old from the village of Katund i Ri, is suspected to have suffered a cardiac arrhythmia after the birth and this is believed to be the cause that took her life, while fortunately the baby enjoys full health.
The 25-year-old family members, present at Elbasan's Maternity, accuse the doctors of carelessness. According to them, after the worsening of her health condition, the gynecologist has asked for help to his cpëëeagues of cardiology as she found heart problems. Family members claim that the cardiologist doctor arrived late, while the new mother passed away one hour after the birth.There will be an autopsy, and is believed that the investigations will determine the real cause of the death of the 25-year-old if there has been a negligence by the doctors.
