50-year old Canadian arrested in Durrës after attempted to rape a 13-year old girl

 The Police of Durrës has arrested a 50-year-old Canadian citizen who tried to rape a minor tourists yesterday afternoon at the beach of Durres.

According to police, Robert Hedorson was arrested with the charge of attempted rape of a 13-year old Hungarian citizen minor. Fortunately, he failed to accomplish his goal, as he was picked up from the area's residents. Even, the residents have beaten severily the 50-year-old Canadian.

Robert Hedorson stayed about 12 hours in the emergency room of the Durrës hospital where he received medical help, as he  had hematoma on different parts of the body and his face. Police sources say that the Canadian tourist  has not accepted the accusation raised by the police officers in Durres. In his testimony, Hedorson said his action was misunderstood as the girl showed to him where a market was located and he kindly thanked the girl for embracing her.

"It is not true that I tried to rape a young girl. I absolutely did not have that purpose. I simply hugged her in a sign of gratitude ", - said the 50-year-old. While the girl has another version. She affirmed that: When she arrived near the palace (which is also a somewhat hidden area) the 50-year-old has asked her to accompany him to the apartment.

At this moment the girl has refused to go along with the 50-year-old in the apartment, he has grasped her hand using the force to bring her to his apartament. At this moment, the girl has shouted for help. For her good fortune, there were some residents nearby who came imedietaly and helped her.
