Authorities in Ukraine have announced that they have seized a large amount of heroin, the total value of which is believed to be about $ 60 million. The amount of more than 700 kilograms of this expensive narcotic substance has been found in the central and western parts of Ukraine.
Police commander Serhiy Knyazev announced via Facebook that police conducted two operations in the Kiev region, whereupon seized 600 kilograms of heroin worth of 50 million dollars. "I have never seen such a huge amount of heroin," he wrote.In addition to this amount, police have found and confiscated more than 100 kilos of heroin on the outskirts of Kiev. This amount of drug is found inside a luxury car.
Knyazev announced that four people were arrested during these operations: one citizen of Moldova, one Turkish citizen and two others from Macedonia.
