Albania-Greece joint police and customs contact center established

The Council of Ministers approved today in principle the agreement between Albania and Greece on the establishment and functioning of a joint police and customs contact center.

The approval of this agreement is made after the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Finance and Economy.

In 2016, Greece signed a similar agreement with Bulgaria and Turkey, which was inaugurated formally at the Bulgarian-Turkish border. This office helps to analyze information on refugees and organized crime.
