Blood feud book by Ismete Selmanaj Leba, the Albanian writer got price in Italy

 The Albanian writer Ismete Selmanaj Leba has been honored with the "Holmes Award 2019" for her book "I bambini non hanno mai colpe" (Children are never guilty).

This price was awarded to the Albanian writer in Naples, Italy, while she chose to dedicate this triumph to children who suffer today its phenomenon. "I pay this prize to all the children imprisoned at home, in the name of an ancient Albanian code, the Kanun. They are the victims," she said.   
         

Through this book, the writer sent to Italy the history of the Kanun and the phenomenon of blood feuds in our country. She emphasized that only by talking about the problems and phenomena can society be helped.

A year ago, Selmanaj Leba received another award from the Harpa Foundation in Fier, Albania, for the contribution and representation of the Albanian authors in Italy.
