Erdogan lost Istanbul, Ankara and several major cities

Although he managed to win again the largest number of votes at national level, President Erdogan's party could not win in the big cities of Turkey.

Erdogan confirmed by himself this fact by a recent late Turkish media saying that "they had won in many small cities, except the big ones."

Erdogan said that the people's message was taken by experiencing the first loss of the capital, Ankara after 25 years under their leadership. Ankara is won by Mansur Yavas from CHP's Kemalists, who also won in Izmir.

Meanwhile, Turkish media report referring to data entered into the Central Election Commission system, where the opposition has also won Istanbul with a margin of less than 30,000 votes. This fact has also been claimed by opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who said they had won by referring to official data.

Even the Anadolu Ajans news agency reports the opposition candidate is leading in Istanbul. The agency refers to the head of the Central Election Commission, saying that based on the data entered into the system, the winner is the opposition candidate.

Meanwhile, AKP has won in Konya, Bursa and several other cities within Anatolia.

The AKP received about 44 percent of the total vote, while the largest opposition party climbed to 32 percent, while Turkish media reported that the main role in overthrowing Erdoganists in major cities is that of Kurds who voted massively for opposition candidates.
