The International Opera Festival "Marie Kraja" has gathered in Tirana its 17th edition artists from several countries around the world.
The two-day festival organized in the premises of the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana is attended by 15 contestants, selected among 270 artists from different countries of the world.On the first night of the festival, apart from artisans and artists, were present also representatives of the cultural institutions of Albania.
The festival brings together world operatic opera performers, while eight artists will compete in the final night at four awards.
According to the organizers, this festival is an event that aims to promote the talents of opera music from different countries of the world, organized according to international artistic standards, and is also seen as an exchange of experiences among artists.
The participating artists are from Albania, Turkey, Italy, Greece, South Korea, Spain, France, Russia, China and Ukraine, who will all perform on the first night.
Cultural event is organized by the Association "Culture-Media-Arts" and Albanian Radio Television with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Albania and the European Union Delegation.
