Kosovo police say has destroyed six criminal groups within seven months

 279 cases have been opened by Kosovo Police, the Directorate for Economic Crime Investigation and Corruption, for the period 2018 - March 2019, said the Police Director Rash Qalaj to Kosovo State Television.

He said that in this period have been destroyed six criminal groups

In this period, this directorate has raised 71 cases for criminal offenses against the economy, 83 cases for offenses against official duty, 112 cases for acts against property. 13 cases were opened for usury.

In total, 78 people have been arrested. 75 people have been detained, while 211 criminal charges have been filed. The number of persons in criminal charges goes to 399.

The police undertook ten operations for this period, and had 16 operating plans. Has conducted 33 raids and has controled 62 Bars.
