Yes, it's true. Marco Maddaloni will compete for Albania's flag in Judo's World Cup, to be held in Tokyo. The news has been given by Maddaloni himself, who a few days ago was declared the winner of "L'Isola dei Famosi" - the Italian version of "Survivors", directed by Alessia Marcuzzi.

"I will start training because in September is the World Cup in Tokyo, where I will wear the shirt of Albania. Three years ago I had to retire after I had some misunderstanding with the president of the Italian federation. Then I met the president of the Albanian Federation of Judo, who gave me the citizenship for sporting merit, so I will represent this state - Albania. I have to regain my dignity and show that I will retire from this sport when I decide by myself," said the 34-year-old Italian judoist, who has won twice the bronze world medal.
