Kosovo and Albania leaders should focus on lobbying more in Washington because in the recent years Serbia has made great steps in this regard, says Mark Gjonaj, a member of New York City Council.
In an interview to Voice of America, he said it is the responsibility of all the Albanians to remind to the world and their allies about the crimes committed by Serbs in Kosovo.Gjonaj is part of a group of the Albanian-American community that this weekend goes to Kosovo to honor the contribution of the Atlantic battalion in the 1999 war and to raise awareness for the missing and victims of sexual violence.
