Hundreds of believers welcomed the resurrection of Christ on Saturday evening in Narta, at the Church of St. Diela, and in a festive atmosphere, the believers congratulated each other for harmony and prosperity in their families.

The mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli while in this Church congratulated the Orthodox believers on this occasion by conveying the best wishes to all believers. He described Easter as the moment in which everyone's hearts and families should have as much love, peace and prosperity as possible.

"I wish all Orthodox believers in Narta and Vlora, happy Easter, this great day of reflection where life wins over death. I can absolutely tell everyone that the hope for the best is what people have to have within themselves and believe that when death is overcome by life, we can all do our best," stressed Leli.



Meanwhile, the party continued today with Narta carnivals, a pagan holiday that continues as a tradition by Narta residents. This characteristic holiday of the area comes with many entertainment activities that gathers in the center of the village of Narta inhabitants of all ages.
