40-year old man banned in Muriqan Customs with undeclared € 100,000

 One person was banned in Muriqani's customs while traveling to Montenegro with an undeclared amount of money.

According to official data, the structures of the Customs in Shkodra, in cooperation with the Border Police structures, have carried out controls on the passengers at the entranc of the Republic of Albania, in order to prevent traffic and movement of monetary values.

During the controls carried out by the structures of the Customs Branch of Shkodra in cooperation with the Police structures at the Crossing Point of Muriqan, is detained the citizen A.Q. 40, which was carrying an undeclared amount of EUR 100,000.

The General Directorate of Customs in the framework of strengthening the measures for the prevention of trafficking has intensified controls at the border crossing points and makes it clear to the citizens who go to the PKK of the Republic of Albania for legal obligation (Law No. 9917, date 19.05.2008 "On the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism") for the declaration of monetary values, objects of value, or metals and precious stones, which are worth more than 1,000,000 leks.
