Albania's President Ilir Meta was received at a special meeting by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The two presidents have praised the excellent traditional relations between the two countries and the two peoples. They have expressed the common will for further development of relations between the two countries.During the meeting, Meta and Erdogan have also emphasized the need for the increase of the economic cooperation between Albania and Turkey.
"It is a pleasure to be welcomed in a special meeting by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and to evaluate the excellent traditional relations between the two countries and peoples and the common will to further develop them in the future.
The strategic partnership between the two countries is an health platform, especially in the fight against terrorism and joint efforts for peace. We put emphasis on increasing economic cooperation between our two countries," Meta wrote on Facebook.
