The President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, visited this Wednesday the American Aircraft Carrier "Abraham Lincoln" on the Adriatic Sea on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of our country's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.
With a note on Facebook, the head of state notes that the relations between the two countries are indicators and guarantees for the stability of the region.
"It was a great pleasure to visit today the American Aircraft Carrier "Abraham Lincoln" on the Adriatic Sea on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Albania's membership in NATO. Our strong relationships are a guarantee for the stability of our region. It was a pleasure to meet leaders who 20 years ago had flown to NATO's action to end the genocide in Kosovo and the Balkans.
US engagement is key to the security and prosperity of our region." says Meta.
