The Lezha Regional Hospital has been transformed into the first public institution in Albania with renewable energy. This has been possible thanks to the Italian government.
The news came by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, during the ceremony at the hospital.
"The Alternative Energy at Lezha Regional Hospital, the first public institution with renewable energy in Albania," she said.

Manastirliu along with Italy's ambassador to Albania, Alberto Cutillo, saw closely the important investment of the photovoltaic system in the Lezha hospital, which not only saves electricity but enables the full function of the hospital with a form of energy that is not harmful to the environment.
Manastirliu thanked the Italian Agency for Co-operation and Development and the Italian government for this great support.
