Bulgaria: Will be an Historical mistake if negotiations do not start with Tirana!

 Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva stressed that within October there will be a decision to start accession negotiations of European Union membership of the Albania and North Macedonia.

"If the status is given to the two countries, I can not say this.

The good news is that there will be no separation between the two states, as some European Union countries wanted.

The decision is no later than October and the European Council will review this topic and recommend the beginning of the negotiations," Zaharieva said, reports them.

"Bulgaria supports both countries," she added.

"We consider it to be a historical mistake if negotiations with the two countries are not started", the Bulgarian diplomacy chief said.

The Minister stressed that Sofia will strongly support the EU's enlargement to the Western Balkan countries.
