Anxiety moment for the footballer of Albanian origin Floriana Ismaili in Switzerland. The 24-year-old captain of BSC Young Boys and player of Swiss national team has disappeared since Saturday afternoon in Como Lake in Italy while swimming with a teammate.

It was her team friend that confirmed the news. Police continue searching hoping the footballer will be found, but no details are given at the moment.

The search for Swiss-born Albanian football begun on Sunday morning as police are continuing investigations.

Boats searching for Ismaili on Como Lake

According to the first data, Ismaili along with her friend took a boat and left the shore Saturday afternoon at 16.00. Then she jumped into the water.

By not seeing her on the surface, her friend thought she was joking, but after a few minutes, she realized that something had happened and started shouting loudly her name. Then she called the Ambulance saying her friend jumped into the water and disappeared.
