Farkha Lake hosted the Triathlon race in Tirana, a sport that joins three disciplines: swimming, cycling and running while part of it became professional athletes and amateurs.
The first places for men and women in the Triathlon race were won by two Serbian athletes, Strahinja Trakic and Vida Medic.
Together with the greeting for the participants in the event, Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj promised to continue the investments in this area.
"Only half is done, for all of you running to Lake you will see that the here are laid the foundations of a park that will be like the Tirana Lake Park after 30-40 years, when our childrens have grown. You will see many of the planted trees and in that case I hope you will become the Farka's marketing agents as well. "
The Agri-tourism is taking particular importance, while urging citizens to help the local economy.
"We have many visitors at Tirana Lake, with athletes, with with family members, while we need the cooperation of each, let's start promoting a little more the Farka Lake, and to reduce the pressure to Lake Park, but of course also to help the economy of the area.
