Why are the Albanian Tomatoes is the most Wanted in the European Markets

 The exports of the Albanian agricultural products are competing in foreign markets with high quality and low prices compared to agricultural products of other countries of the region but also Europe.

Some experts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development say the Albanian tomatoes are exported to European and regional countries, at a lower price the price of the 20 largest exporters in the world.

While Italy is the most expensive country for the export of tomatoes among the largest exporting countries.

According to experts another reason for the increased demand of foreign markets, for Albanian tomatoes is also the quality of export.

Albania, for the most part exports to intermediate subjects that they use the tomatoes to be processed in sausages.

In 2018 Albania managed to export full $ 30 million tomatoes, almost exclusively to the European Union countries.

Today in our country there are about 1500 hectares of greenhouses throughout the country that have the first tomato products that emerge quickly in the market.

While VAT reduction on agricultural inputs and easing fiscal policies and funding support has increased the interest in producing of quality agricultural products.
