Corinne Fesseau and her rooster Moris |
The rooster named Moris has received much attention in the media, as it is an issue that symbolizes the division between the urban and rural communities.
According to the couple of the elders who have sued the rooster, say the bird causes acoustic pollution.
The owner of the rooster Corinne Fesseau told CNN that the concerns by her neighbors in Oleron began in April 2017.
"I've been here for 35 years and my rooster has never disturbed anyone. I hope these people who have filed a lawsuit to understand od what means life in the village," said the rooster owner.
The court decision is expected to be announced on September 5 this year.
