Doda has appeared before an extradition court in London.
A source from the Foreign Relations Department at the Ministry of Justice told to Top-Channel that Albanian justice fugitive Gentian Doda, at the first extradition hearing in London, has accepted the Albanian justice request to be extradited to Albania.
This is an unprecedented case, as all Albanians arrested in England for extradition purposes attempt to block it by taking the case to the British Supreme Court.
“It's just a matter of days before the arrival of Gentian Doda in Albania from England. Interpol Tirana is coordinating with its English counterparts to bring him in Albania”, said the same source.
This is the second time Gentian Doda is facing an extradition process.
He has been banned in 2011 as he was entering at the Los Angeles International Airport.
A fingerprint check revealed that he was a wanted person by the Albanian justice, a fact he denied, but could not escape US extradition to Albania.
