"We want to see the laws enforced, want to see people in jail, crime assets seized, and we want to have enough evidence/facts, not just laws, to demonstrate that the system is consolidated. I can only hope that in Albania when the system is shaken, all the politicians to understand the value of the respect and support of this reform," she said.
IOM mission chief Genoveva Calavera stated that the justice reform that is attacked by the Albanian President Ilir Meta is going to the right direction.
Mrs. Cavalera said Albania will be in a fantastic position to catch the lost time so far.
"Every country must find a way to reform the judiciary. It is not said to be so dramatic as in Albania because the problem is not the same for every country, but you need to find a way to reform," Calavera says.
