The US will now be part of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, warned Reeker, saying this will happen until the Kosovo and Serbian sides return to the negotiating table.
Reeker said for the Voice of America that for the potentially stronger US role in the dialogue process, he has talked recently to the first man of the State Department.
"The United States is absolutely ready to get involved, so I talked to Mike Pompeon, because we want progress. But we can not do it for you. Kosovo and Serbia need to co-decide whether they are ready to return to the dialogue."
Reeker added that the early stages of the Brussels dialogue really made the difference in relations between the two countries, affecting the mitigation of tension in the region.
Currently, the top DASH official dealing with the Balkans said he believes there is a willingness on both sides to find a solution to the dialogue.
