 Interpol Tirana has extradited from Germany a 56-year-old Albanian that has been sentenced before to 25 years in prison for a murder committed in 1998.

As a result of Interpol Tirana's cooperation with the Interpol Wiesbaden, the Albanian citizen Beyniamin Hajro, 56, has been arrested and extradited from Germany to Albania. He has been declared internationally wanted as the Court of Vlora sentenced him to 25 years in prison for the offense of “Intentional Homicide in Co-operation” provided by Articles 78/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

On 17.04.2012, it is decided to resume the investigation in connection with the incident of 22.03.1998 in Berat, where they kidnapped and then killed the citizens E.P. and A.A. In 2017, he has been found guilty the Vlora Court of Appeal sentencing him to 25 years in prison.
