Elections in Kosovo to be held on October 6, the campaign will last only 10 days

 

 Kosovo's political parties have also formally agreed that the election date will be the Sunday, October 6.

Oculus News sources learned the election date will be October 6, agreed by the main parties of Kosovo.

But one thing that stands out from the rest is that the election campaign will be held in only 10 days.

This short campaign by the Kosovar parties will be held in order to not delay the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, hoping to reach thus a final agreement between the two countries.

This is due to the delay Kosovo has made in blocking the dialogue with Serbia in the recent months and the relations damaged somehow with the US and EU.

The main parties have agreed so far and it is only expected the Kosovo President Hashim Thaci to publish officially the date of the elections. We recall that the Assembly of Kosovo will be dissolved on August 22 following the demands of the ruling coalition and the opposition parties.
