A Toyota Yaris-type vehicle driven by a female hit the citizen Qani Çela who was trying to cross on the other side of the road.
After being hit by the car, the pedestrian crashed into the sidewalks, injuring his head. Cela was rushed to the hospital of Lushnja where he is receiving the first aid. Doctors say his condition is stable and out of life danger.
Lushnja police accompanied the driver of the vehicle to clarify the event and the causes of the accident. Initial investigations suspect that the pedestrian Qani Çela did not notice the vehicle when attempting to cross the road.
Qani Çela is a traffic police officer but at the time of the accident, Çela was off duty.
