After 20 years the first plane landed in Kuçovë Air Base

 The Minister of Defence Olta Xhaçka through a status on Facebook has announced that a  MC-130J Commando II aircraft has landed at the Kuçova military base.

This is the first time in 20 years that an aircraft of such size has landed at the base of Kucova.

Status:

The Albanian Special Forces have shown that they are capable of participating in special operations with their American colleagues.

For more than a week, two US Special Operations Wing MC-130J aircrafts flew into the Albanian airspace and used the Rinas and Kucova bases, marking thus the first landing of an aeroplane of such proportions in 20 years in the Kucova base.
