Albanian narcotic gang destroyed in Italy, 11 arrested and 11 kg of cocaine and cannabis seized

 

 Italian police have destroyed a narcotic gang, and have put in custody 11 Albanians. Italian media reported that 11 kilograms of cocaine and 1 kg of cannabis were seized during the operation in Bergamo, Italy. Police also seized from the gang about 50,000 euros.

It is learned that the network was run by two Albanian brothers, while the drug courier was an Italian citizen. The latter was arrested a week ago with 10kg of cocaine. In addition to the amount of the drugs, was also seized 800 thousand euros in the car of the courier.

Among other things, it is alleged that the drugs has been imported from abroad, were then distributed by the group to the province of Brescia, Bergamo and other provinces in central and northern Italy.
