The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has announced that he has received the backing of three non-Serb MPs. With this step, the winner of the election has managed to reach 60 MPs who will support the new government, counting LDK votes.

“In Prizren, despite the recounts and panels, the parliamentary majority for the new government has been secured. The leaders of the three non-majority communities, as well as future MPs, Messrs. Rasim Demiri, Fikrim Damka and Albert Kinolli, will vote for our government and me as prime minister without any conditions,” Kurti wrote in a statement on FB.

Kurti has announced that the LDK has agreed to build the government once the October 6th elections are certified.

The vote count is over today and the post-election process is expected to close in the coming days.

The incoming prime minister, Albin Kurti, has announced that working with Americans honors the State and the nation.

"A pleasant evening for me on Rita, welcomed by the US Embassy on the occasion of the 244th anniversary of the creation of the Marine Corps. We will cooperate with the US to have our specialized military troops, who will honor our nation and our allies whenever the need so requires,” Kurti announced.

Meanwhile, Kosnett's dinner lacked other Kosovo leaders.

Vjosa Osmani, who is expected to be part of the new VV-LDK Government, also attended the event.
