But the Italian investigative show, Le Iene, which made it possible for Alvin and his desperate father for the miracles to be true, has released the ending video showing his release and the journey toward home.
The mission of the journalists of "Le Iene" is already fulfilled. Luigi Pelazza, who followed the case from the beginning, has been there this time as well. "We couldn't leave Alvin abandoned in that terrible place," says Le lene's website, so we did all we could to save him from that prison. So they followed the release of the 11-year-old step-by-step, recording his every reaction: the way he tasted the food after leaving al-Holi, how he quickly he closed the lid after washing his hands so that he would not run out of water because the savage regime of the camp could not be so quickly forgotten, and as he lay down to sleep.
The video shows Alvin as he escorts to Beirut to the Italian embassy where he was received by the Italian Ambassador and Albanian authorities along with the interior minister, Sander Lleshaj, and then to the thrill of arriving in Italy, where the sisters with tears, jump on him as soon as the plane comes down.
"Forca Alvin," - the "Le Iene" writes. "The nightmare is over and you have all your life ahead to recover what you lost in Syria!"
