Attempted to cross the border illegally, 7 Syrian clandestine are banned in Dibra

 A case of human smuggling from Middle Eastern countries is prevented in Albania, while Dibra police have detained 7 Syrians attempting to cross the border and go to North Macedonia.

Official sources said that thanks to information received from citizens, the clandestine were captured as they attempted to leave illegally towards the Blate Border Crossing Point. The 7 Syrians allegedly entered Albania illegally in order to cross into Macedonia and then into one of the EU countries.

These Syrian nationals have been escorted to the Rehabilitation Center in Kukes, while Police are investigating the identification and arrest of the person who brought them to Debar and transported them to the border with Macedonia for profit.
