50 years Albania-Sweden relations / Kokalari: I believe Albania will join EU

 The Swedish Embassy in Tirana, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Albania, has published the message of Arba Kokalari, an Albanian-Swedish politician and member of the European Parliament, who stresses that the differences between Sweden and Albania are seen as values.

"This year Sweden celebrates 50 years of diplomatic relations with Albania: Therefore, we asked people in both countries to tell us what Albania and Sweden mean to them," says the Swedish Embassy in Albania.

As MEP Arba Kokalari says “I was born in Albania and I have a lot of my history there, while in Sweden I grew up and have my own life. I have always seen the differences between Albania and Sweden as an asset and a value."

“I hope and believe that Albania will join the European community one day. That the relationship between Sweden and Albania, in terms of trade and other aspects, should continue to grow, because it would be a very good thing for the future of both countries,” Arba Kokalari said.
