A grenade explosion at his office allegedly injured the mayor and his secretary and both were taken to Lushnja hospital, under the intensive care of doctors. It is reported that their health is out of life danger.
From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the author of this event is the former driver of the mayor, who, after throwing the grenade, left immediately the premises of Lushnja Municipality.
Lushnja police forces, Fier DVP, Renea and Fier FNSH are working to apprehend and arrest the perpetrator.
